ChatGPT App only works on 23 iPhone models, causing dissatisfaction among users of older models

From the information published on Apple's App Store, only iPhones running iOS 16.1 and later can download the ChatGPT app, which means that iPhones that do not support iOS 16.1 will not be able to download the ChatGPT app, and they will not be able to experience this hot app on their iPhones.

The information on Apple's website shows that iOS 16.1 is available for the iPhone 8 and newer models launched after it. iPhone 8 was launched on September 12, 2017, along with iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, which was specially prepared for the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.

After the release of the iPhone 8, Apple also launched the iPhone Xs series, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 series, iPhone 12 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 14 series and the second and third generation iPhone SE. Including iPhone 8 and iPhone X, there are 23 iPhone models that can be upgraded to iOS 16.1.

Of course, in addition to the restrictions on models, the ChatGPT app for iPhone also has language and market restrictions. But with the passage of time, the supported languages and markets will be gradually expanded, and the version for Android will be launched soon.
