Certif-ID digitizes talent acquisition process with blockchain, secures €1.6 million in funding
In the latest news, blockchain-based German recruitment platform Certif-ID International GmbH announced the closing of a €1.6 million seed funding round with participation from NRW-Bank, a German state bank in North Rhine-Westphalia, and several angel investors. Certif-ID plans to use the funding to expand its activities in Asia and Europe and further develop its technology platform.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Germany, Certif-ID focuses on automating and digitizing the recruitment process for international skilled professionals using blockchain technology.
The company has two product lines: TalentSure provides transparent and automated hiring processes for candidates and corporate employers in healthcare, logistics, IT and engineering. certif-ID says it has more than 300,000 registered users from 25 countries and 16,000 job offers. credSure is the SaaS platform that supports companies in bringing credentials digitized and anchored to the blockchain for instant verification. Education service providers can issue graduates with digital badges that can be used to demonstrate and validate their newly acquired industry-required competencies.
The demand for skilled labor around the world has never been stronger," said Tim Miller, co-founder and CEO of Certif-ID. However, recruitment, skills verification and visa issuance processes have not changed at the right time. There is an urgent need to automate and digitize these processes, which is critical to minimizing the negative impact on the economy."
